It was noted that 34 sets had been dealt with, leaving just
one set to be completed.
899. SCHEMES IN OPERATION
(a) Watford - St.Albans and Harrow - Belmont
The examination of the economics of these services was now in the
hands of the Line Traffic Manager, Crewe.
Attention was drawn to the fact that, in the event of the services
being retained, authority was still required for the use of the 2-car sets.
(b) Traffic Receipts
The statement of receipts and tickets issued during July, 1961, for
those schemes with less than 12 months operation, noted and attached as
Appendix 'A'.
A reply was still awaited from the Divisional Traffic Managers,
Birmingham and Nottingham in respect of the enquiry into the small increase
in receipts on the Leicester (London Road) - Nuneaton T.V. service.
Mr.A.J.Johnson pointed out that under the new organisation the
details of traffic receipts in respect of the diesel services would be
supplied by the Line Traffic Managers in future.
