902. GRAB HANDLES ON ST.PANCRAS AND MARYLEBONE
SUBURBAN DIESEL SETS
The Line Traffic Managers did not consider that the expense of
approximatelty £3,000 to equip the present sets in service with grab
handles was justified, but suggested that the handles be fitted in new stock
before being put into service. Arrangements have been made accordingly
with the C.M.& E.E.
903. OTHER BUSINESS
(1) Profitability of Diesel Multiple Unit Services
The Chairman referred to a statement prepared by the Economic Survey
Officer and Mr.Andrews confirmed copies had been supplied to the Line Traffic
Managers.
