Class 105 Cravens set 36 (E50382 + E56140) at Darsham station on the East Suffolk line from Lowestoft to Ipswich, 21 April 1973. Phil Bevan.
A track gang stand back at Haughley Junction to let Cravens set 36 past working wrong line on its way to Ipswich. It is working with a Class 105/101 hybrid. Closest seems to be E50382, and probably from the early 1970s. The image was from the Steve Davies Collection. Stuart Mackay Collection.
This slide, taken at Halesworth on 17 April 1974 noted the train as the 12:48 Liverpool St - Lowestoft. At the front is a 105 DMBS/101 DTCL hybrid, closest is Class 105 DMBS E50382 - note how the top cream lining from the green livery has not been sanded flat and is the blue paint has flaked off it in several places.
