Sc51012 at the front of Swindon-Inter-City set on an excursion, possibly to Aberdeen, at Dundee on July 4th, 1959. The vehicle had been working with the 79xxx vehicles at Leith, hence the 'A' headcodes. This type of gangway cover, common on the 79xxx vehicles, was unusual on the 5xxxx vehicles. George Bett.

8 over at the clubhouse. Watched by a couple of local lads, an early evening Glasgow to Ayr service slows to a halt at Barassie Junction. The 8 car rake is led by Swindon class 126 DMS Sc51012. The golf club car park seems well filled, its a fine spring evening after all. 8th April 1981. Bruce Galloway.
