E51209 + E56461 on a Middlesbrough - Newcastle service diverted via Eaglescliffe and Stockton goods line, on Stockton, February 15, 1981. During the rationalisation at Stockton services were diverted over the goods lines and around the back of the station John Carter.

Class 101 DMBS 51209, is seen inside the factory at Tyseley on 04.06.1988. It had recently been transferred from Norwich, it still displays the Norwich set number 84 in the middle window, behind as a board with it's Tyseley set number 217. Andy Cole.
E50239 leads a twelve-car Met-Camm formation at Shildon 31 August 1975. These shuttles on the day of the 150th cavalcade ran to Darlington, and the November 1975 edition of The Railway Observer (p351) lists this formation as 50239 + 59087 + 59094 + 51505 / 50295 + 56075 / 51438 + 59573 + 59086 + 51506 / 56083 + 51209.
