14th September 1958 - Unit 51261+56419 was on display as part of an exhibition at Wood Green Goods Yard from 12th to 14th September 1958.
circa Aug-84 - In Autumn 1984 withdrawn 51261 and 54135 were noted at Lincoln before being stored at Holmes Yard. They were quoted as in use as "a sandite unit" but seems more probable that they were used for weedkilling.

Spalding on 21 July 1981 - E51261 + E56139 have arrived on 17.35 ex-Peterborough and will now form the 18.07 back to Peterborough. Lewis Bevan.
In mid-October 1958 two Cravens sets (51257 + 56415 and 51261 + 56419) began working Kings Cross Great Northern line suburban services. This was an initial step towards a planned 20 sets being in operation during the first half of the following year (ultimately there would be 26 sets). The two sets are seen at Palmers Green station circa November 1958. British Railways.
Cravens twin set E56419 + E51261 was one of many exhibits at a rolling stock and equipment exhibition at Noel Park Goods Yard (on the Seven Sisters - Palace Gates branch) by the Great Northern line. 24,000 people attended the event held from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September 1958. British Railways.

The 10.26 Doncaster - Cambridge dmu service, one of three southbound passenger services still serving the joint line in 1980. The setting is Murrow West. This was at one time the site of a flat crossing with the M&GN Peterborough - Wisbech - Sutton Bridge line on which, until its closure in 1959, the hamlet of Murrow had the extravagant facilities of a further station named Murrow East. On 30th October 1980 motoring past are Lincoln based Class 114 Derby 'heavyweight' set E50046 + E56026 leading Norwich allocated Cravens Class 105 unit E56480 + E51261 (set 65). Gerard Fletcher.
