Class 105 / 101 vehicles E51301 E56400 approach Newcastle from the ECML (north) on 18/04/1981. The rear Class 101 is distinguished from the front Class 105 by the grey band of its blue & grey livery - which was only carried by a handful of Class 105s - as well as the bright aluminium window frames and different roof vent layout.
