Both were transferred from Darlington to Norwich in November 1979 and seem to have stopped in Doncaster Works en-route for refurbishment being released in blue/grey in December. A summer's day at Norwich. Class 03 shunter No. 03029 and a first generation Class 105 DMU (set 62, believed to be E56116) keep each other company at Norwich depot on Monday 4th August 1975. Photo taken on day two of the "Secret Five" mystery tours: five day trips on five consecutive days to mystery destinations from Weston-super-Mare and other picking-up points in the Bristol area. Class 100 DMBS E51111 at Norwich. Undated, with the vehicle stripped of all underframe equipment this is likely some time after withdrawal which was September 1973. It would be scrapped at TW Ward, Briton Ferry, arriving there in August 1974. The seats seem to still have their original coverings. Stuart Mackay Collection.
