Norwich MPD allocated Set No.35 led by Class 104 DTCL E56186 awaits it's next duty at the North end of Cambridge Station. At the next Platform is sister Set No.46 led by Class 104 DTCL E56188 who also calls Norwich MPD home. E56186 would be withdrawn in February 1984 being scrapped by Vic Berry in their Leicester Yard 2 years later, while E56188 was withdrawn in February 1982 and was disposed of by Mayer Newman at their local Snailwell Yard in November of that year. Hybrid DMU formed of a Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Co. built class 104 driving trailer E56186 and Cravens built Class 105/2 motor unit E51266 forming a Peterborough station to Nene Valley Railway shuttle service on 4th May 1981. Gordon Edgar.

Taken in the days when there were two passenger stations in Lincoln, here are BRCW Class 104 cars E50597 and 56186 standing at Lincoln Central having arrived on the 12.10 from Sheffield. Lincoln St Marks site is now a shopping centre whose name is in the style of an Eastern Region dark blue totem. September 10 1975. Jeremy Chapter.
