Easily identified as a Norwich-allocated train by the set number in the cab window, the DMBS is probably 50377. It is standing at Leicester (during reconstruction) having arrived from Peterborough on July 11, 1978. Jeremy Chapter.

On May 19th 1979, WAMRAC (the Wisbech & March Railway Action Committee) organised a special train from the goods terminus at Wisbech and this is seen there on arrival back from Cambridge. E50377 is shown leading trailer E56434 formed as Set 33. The other unit at the rear was Set 44, E51289 + E56468. Gerard Fletcher.

New arrival at Haymarket. Cravens set E53377 + E54447, newly transferred from Norwich to cover for out of action Class 107s, the power car would become part of a hybrid three-car set and the trailer put into store. S Saunders.
