Met Camm 3 car set 101363 runs light past Arbroath box on 22nd October 1983 after arriving with 2A20 0915 SO Dundee to Arbroath. The unit will cross to the up line and form 2L30 1003 return working back to Dundee. Bruce Galloway.

The leading car unusually retains the central marker lights (top and bottom) and the top one even looks like it might be switched on, though there is no glass lens - both these central lights were usually removed upon refurbishment. Scottish Region Met-Camm trailer brake second sets were not unusual, but four-car sets were. Sc53242 leads 101364 south through Lancaster on May 31, 1983. The TBSL and rear DMSL are presumably normal long-time partners 59080 and 53268, the set had been transferred from Haymarket to Ayr earlier that month. The additional TSL seems to be 59302.
