Scottish Region Met-Camm trailer brake second sets were not unusual, but four-car sets were. Sc53242 leads 101364 south through Lancaster on May 31, 1983. The TBSL and rear DMSL are presumably normal long-time partners 59080 and 53268, the set had been transferred from Haymarket to Ayr earlier that month. The additional TSL seems to be 59302. DMU set 101 364 in Bathgate station while waiting to form the 15.09 to Edinburgh Waverley on August 28, 1987. This was one of the most successful reopenings on British Rail's ScotRail network which rejoined the passenger network on the 24th March 1986. The DMBS closest is not one of the regular vehicles in 101364, it is a trailer brake set that normally has two DMSs. It could be 51244 - see the comment. Adrian Nicholls.
