Whitby on the 24th April 1977. Nearest the camera are cars 50188 and 50162, each unit still unrefurbished at this stage, retaining all four front lights. The unit on the left appears to be 4-cars. Plenty of history in this image, with orange BR NER signage, station accessories / equipment plus all the tracks into the station terminus are still intact.
