Looking towards the station at Cosford from the road bridge a short way to the west of the station this image shows ex-Strathclyde class 101 T076 (53241 + 51224) working a Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton train on 29 November 1991. The shot looking towards Shrewsbury is equally interesting with a nice bracket signal but at this time of the year the cutting is too heavily shadowed for a picture on a sunny day. Peter Tandy.

With the roof vents removed from all three vehicles, TBS set 101364 (53242 leading, presumably with 59080 and 53268) is seen at Inverkeithing Junction coming from the Rosyth direction with an Edinburgh service on the 5th April 1983. Stuart Mackay.
Scottish Region Met-Camm trailer brake second sets were not unusual, but four-car sets were. Sc53242 leads 101364 south through Lancaster on May 31, 1983. The TBSL and rear DMSL are presumably normal long-time partners 59080 and 53268, the set had been transferred from Haymarket to Ayr earlier that month. The additional TSL seems to be 59302.
