Norwich Cravens set number 46 (presumably 56437 + 50359) is paired with a 101. They are seen sitting in Birmingham Moor Street station beside a Class 116 on December 15, 1973. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Three 2-car Class 105s heading away from the camera towards Norwich at Diss on the Ipswich to Norwich line. Date unknown, but between the introduction of set numbers at Norwich in 1971 and the end of the use of headcodes in 1976. Closest is almost certainly the regular DMBS in set 31 at the time, E50371. This slide, taken at Halesworth on 17 April 1974 noted the train as the 12:48 Liverpool St - Lowestoft. At the front is a 105 DMBS/101 DTCL hybrid, closest is Class 105 DMBS E50382 - note how the top cream lining from the green livery has not been sanded flat and is the blue paint has flaked off it in several places. The station is still open, but is now equipped with half-barriers, steel fencing and security cameras. Bow Brickhill level crossing featured briefly in a 1963 episode of 'The Saint' TV series.
