107447 (presumably 52029 + 59792 + 52008) passes through Newton-on-Ayr on 25-10-1987. The class 107 d.m.u.s were based in Scotland for all their working lives, and, together with the Metro-Cammell class 101s, formed most Ayrshire passenger services form the demise of the Swindon built class 126 in 1981 until electrification in September 1986.
