This class was never common on Fife Circle workings and definitely not in SPT orange livery which the leading car is wearing, but by then the corporate identity manual had more or less been abandoned. A scene almost unrecognisable nowadays.Taken from what is now a tram track, a Strathclyde red livered 3 car DMU accelerates away from Haymarket with a Fife service one evening in August 1987. This comprises most of set 107436, but the rear car has been substituted with a Metro Cammell vehicle in place of 52024. Bunyan’s coal lorry can be seen on the left, and the Distillery is still in operation on the right. Murray Liston.
