The overhead power lines are off as ScotRail 107734 (presumably 52011 + 59791 + 51994) and a Met-Camm set call at Barassie with an Ayr to Kilwinning shuttle, during maintenance works on 25-03-1989. Of note is that the station building at Barassie (left) is still standing - it was removed shortly after this. Gordon Thomson.
Strathclyde Orange and Black vehicle Sc52001 sitting facing Class 26 26010 in the holding sidings above Dundee station. At the time I had no interest in Multiple Units so have no further information. Taken across the running lines below after the once extensive railway yards had been removed but before the current (2022) developments had been started.
