The DMU sidings at Haymarket depot at 16:55 on Thursday 17th August 1989. From left to right: a Met-Camm, a 108, two Class 107 centre cars, Met-Camm, 156. The closest Class 107 centre car has the set number 432 on the end, and is presumably 59800. Colin Brooks.

Set: 107728

107728 (presumably 51988 + 59786 + 52013) departing Kilmarnock with the 12:54 to Glasgow Central, 22-08-89. Classic d.m.u. traction for the Killie - Glasgow service, not long before the Sprinters took over. The line from here to Barrhead (with a loop at Lugton) was stupidly singled in 1974. It was re-doubled between Stewarton and Lugton in 2008 / 09 and now a half hourly service to operates from Kilmarnock to Glasgow. The former line to Dalry passed under the bridge on the left.
