The interior of cl.107 DMS no.52012, photographed at Edinburgh Waverley while the unit was in its last few months of service. The unit (107 733) had arrived as the 06.22 Fife "Inner Circle" service - Edinburgh to Edinburgh via Kirkcaldy, Thornton and Dunfermline. The coach bore notices saying "Scotrail apologises for the condition of these trains. I am sure you will be pleased to know that more modern trains will be introduced in the next few months. Meanwhile may I thank you for your patience and understanding. Signed (Fleet engineer)" Leonard Rogers.

Living in Paisley at the time I took a day out one Saturday to film the Ayr (formerly Hamilton based) Derbys as we called them on the Paisley Canal line and Kilmacolm branch. Why I did this in December and not when the weather was better I'll never know! Alistair Ness.
