Class 108 Derby 3-car DMU with DMCL 52058 leading a 6 car formation for Llandudno at Chester 26-7-86-ish. In the summer of 1986, BX495 also contained 59388 + 51943. The rear set has a Class 104 centre car, a number of Buxton formations were made up of Class 108-104-108 thus. On Tour With the Class 13 Army.

Class 108 power-twin CH619 (52058 + 51937) departs from Chester with a Hooton service on 30 September 1990. This was one of the Auto-gear sets - as noted by the small text on the lower left of the cab front. On the same date the set is recorded as being transferred from Chester to Tyseley. A refurbished Class 108 Driving Motor Composite Lavatory (DMCL), M52060 was in the carriage sidings at Southport on an August evening in 1979 awaiting assessment following a side swipe that even damaged the front nearside steps. Martyn Hilbert.
