Saturday 14 July 1973 at 09:10 and a BRCW Class 110 'Calder Valley' dmu is at the front of four units at Copley. My notes from the time said this was a Halifax Wakes Week additional service to Cleethorpes from Hebden Bridge. Neither the headcode, nor the destination blind are correct if this is the case. Mr Deltic.

Sleepy Morning at Scarborough. The clock on the tower says 10.55 and a lone four-car Class 110 DMU keeps the railway interest alive on 9 September 1974. To the right is the signal box controlling just the station area, beautiful cast iron abounds and the place is in a very good state of repair. On a Summer Saturday the station was very busy with loco hauled trains arriving from many destinations to this popular resort. Geoff Dowling.
