Kemble station on 28th May 1984. The Class 116 DMU is 53887/59366/53834 working the 16.30 Gloucester-Swindon. The set number is displayed in the drivers window and may be TS616. The track leading away to the right of the picture is the former branch line from Kemble to Cirencester, closed to passengers on 6 April 1964 and to goods from 4 October 1965. Lewis Bevan.

Class 116 53888 is seen withdrawn at Tyseley on 07.12.1985. It had been stripped of reuseable parts including windscreens and bogies, and was waiting to go to Vic Berry's for scrapping. Andy Cole.
A rainy evening (13th October 1974) in the gloom of New Street station as Tyseley Class 116 set TY542 (presumably with 50890 closest) - prepares to depart on a train back to Lichfield - I had just arrived on it from there.
