Back in the day when there were two main and two relief lines between Melton and Gilberdyke, E52104 leads a Trans-Pennine working from Hull to Manchester through Broomfleet on April 5th 1983. On this occasion, the train is made up of a four-car Swindon-built Inter-City set with a two-car Metro Cammell on the rear. Syd Young.
