Mr.Johnson reported that the passenger and freight working on the Silloth Branch had not yet been reviewed. A decision had, however, been taken in principle that the passenger service between Keswick and Workington could be withdrawn thereby reducing uneconomic mileage.

Mr.Horner stated that the back-checking of the Bury - Bacup scheme was complete and report would be available in a day or so.
Three vans delivered and working experimentally in West Cumberland, Stoke and Birmingham areas. Noted that the whole question of the working of the parcels vans still under consideration.
