Met-Camm set 101329 runs through Princes Street Gardens on May 12, 1986 with 51455 at the front. David Christie.
DMBS 51455 calls at Barnsley with the 11:10 Sheffield - Leeds in 1988, presumably paired with 51538. It appears to have been recently transferred from Scotland, it having the remnants of a 101xxx TOPS unit number visible below the driver's front window, plus it appears to have had some lettering painted out behind the driver's door, probably TransClyde or ScotRail. Westbound departures from Haymarket in Edinburgh were always a good bet for a spirited sprint to Saughton Junction where westbound and Fife bound services diverged. Here, a pair of flat out Met-Camm 101 units working 2C15 1518 Edinburgh to Cowdenbeath (101303 on the left) and 2H57 1517 Edinburgh to Dunblane (set 329 on the right, presumably with 51455 leading) pass Haymarket depot.
