A class 100 Gloucester twin car d.m.u. after arrival at the old North Berwick station from Edinburgh Waverley on 7 August 1969. Since January of the previous year the North Berwick branch had been a long siding from Drem. The branch was then under threat of closure. It didn't and is now electrified with a frequent service to Edinburgh. All that you see here is gone and the long siding shortened by a couple of hundred yards. Gordon Thomson.
