A Met-Camm twin DMU at Kinross Junction on 13 April 1963. It is coming off the line from Alloa, and Perth is on the destination blind, and the timetable shows there was a 3.20pm Alloa - Perth diesel service. The DMBS was recorded as SC51252, it is presumably paired with original partner SC56410. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Two two-car Metro-Cammell DMUs are seen at East Berkswell on 1 May 1963 heading for Coventry. DMBS M51175 leads, allocated to Monument Lane. It still has a right-hand facing coaching crest. Michael Mensing.

Spon Lane Station on May 17th 1963. A Metro-Cammell 2 car dmu calls at the ramshackle station with a Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton HL service. The station opened in 1852 and closed in 1964, no trace remains today. Taken by Peter Shoesmith. A version of this picture appears on Page 20, B.R. A six-car Met-Camm DMU formation enters Fencehouses on Saturday 20 July 1963. With a busy platform and a 2Z20 reporting number on the front this is likely an excursion. The station, on the Leamside line in Tyne and Wear had its passenger services withdrawn in May 1964. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Michael noted on the print that this was the only scheduled passenger service to use the Kenilworth - Berkswell cut off line. The DTCL closest appears to be M56339, which was allocated to Monument Lane. Michael Mensing.
