Two three-car Met-Camm DMUs, perhaps with a CCT on the rear. No real details came with the negative, there was a hint it could be drawing into Backworth station but looking at images from that era I would have expected a third rail for that location. With the yellow panel and no blue vehicles, the date will be circa mid-1960s. Stuart Mackay Collection.
