Derby suburban set TY519 (M50064 leading presumably with 59019 + 50115) arrives into Worcester Shrub Hill station on 19th October 1974 with a service from Birmingham. The station was opened by the Oxford Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway in 1850 but the present Great Western & Midland Railway station building was designed by Edward Wilson and built in 1865. I think my father was photographing these services in conjunction with the closure of Birmingham Snow Hill. In this one a Tyseley single car DMU (TY055, presumably 55010) is seen about to depart on the 18.17 Langley Green To Birmingham Snow Hill whilst a Kidderminster service arrives (TY527, presumably 50119).
