Messrs.Stanley and Horner will supply additional
information as referred to above, and Mr.Johnson will initiate completion of
revised joint report which is required urgently.
Reference was made to a request from the Chief Mechanical Engineer
for layout schemes and detailed costs to be prepared for the installation of
shore bases with the object of eliminating the noise from auxiliary engines of
the de luxe train when standing at stations. Noted that Mr.Robson has
been asked for report, and agreed this be considered at the next meeting.
