Class 104 trailer brake second lavatory (TBSL) E59211 in Sheffield Midland station circa early 1970s. It is part of a four-car set with DMSL E50575 on the left and TSL E59234 on the right. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Seen on December 23rd 1974 is a Scarborough to Manchester Victoria service, consisting of E50554, E59234, E59211 & E50575 pausing at Stalybridge, whilst on the right, the connecting service to Stockport awaits departure in the form of M50348 & M56103 in the days when the 'Stalybridge shuttle' used to run every hour or so.
