Class 116 set 334 in unlined green livery is seen at Earlswood Lakes in September 1964. 50912 is at the front. Michael Mensing.
In early 1977 Tyseley Class 116 DMU set TS502 (presumably 50912 + 59002 + 50861) is seen at Aston just after passing under Spaghetti Junction on its way to Four Oaks. Michael Mensing.

A Class 116 in refurbished livery on a Four Oaks working seen near University station in Birmingham during 1980. It appears to be set TS502, and so presumably 50912 + 59002 + 50861. Ian Docwra.
The now demolished Birmingham (Snow Hill) Station, on the last day of through Paddington - Birkenhead services, 04/03/67. Brush Type 4 (Class 47) No.D1605 (later No.47 028) enters the station with a Paddington-bound express from Wolverhampton (Low Level) whilst in the centre road are two BR (Derby) Suburban 3-car dmu's (Class 116) Nos.M50885, M59342, M50912 & M50859, M59334, M50888 (note: one too many DMS listed and one DMBS short) idling quietly amidst diesel fumes as the sunlight streams through the stygian gloom.
