A brand new E56114 and presumably M50359, which were delivered to Hull Springhead in August 1956. This was a commonly used publicity image distributed by Cravens. Cravens.
The front saloon of a Cravens DTCL, this is assumed to be E56114 when new circa August 1956. Cravens.
The interior of a Cravens DTCL, this is assumed to be E56114 when new circa August 1956. Taken in the centre saloon looking towards the rear with the toilet on the left. Cravens.

A Cravens DMU at Cambridge on a snowy 6 March 1970, with E56114 at the front of the 13.00 to Birmingham. Tom Burnham.
Norwich Cravens set 76 (likely to be E56114 + E51217) leads a DMU formation into Birmingham New Street in July 1972. Alistair Ness.
Class 105 DMU set 43 (56114 + 51297) arriving at Felixstowe on 12 July 1978. Stuart Mackay Collection.
51297 + 56114 leads a service from Norwich arriving at Felixstowe on 12 September 1978. The set number is a little blurry but the power car, noted as E51297, would be in set 43 and it looks like a possibility. Stuart Mackay Collection.
This is the old Sudbury station; the line was later cut back about one hundred yards and the former station site is now a leisure centre. Working on Colchester services are Class 105 DTCL E56114 and Class 100 DMBS E50346 on March 22, 1980. Jeremy Chapter.
At the northern stub of the surviving portion of the former Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway (M&GNJR) still in use as part of the national network, a Cravens Class 105 two-car DMU formed of cars E56114 & E51293 had arrived at Sheringham with a service from Norwich via a reversal at Cromer on April 29th 1980. The single platform terminus at Sheringham, complete with its BR Eastern Region dark blue enamel sign, opened on January 2nd 1967 enabling the closure of the adjacent level crossing and the original M&GNJR station (now owned by the North Norfolk Railway). The single platform was intended as a temporary station as the line was scheduled for closure. In the event, it has gone on to be upgraded to accommodate the new Greater Anglia Class 755 DMU's. A connection from the Network Rail line at Sheringham to the North Norfolk Railway was opened in 2010. Martyn Hilbert.
It's funny how you can curse things, but then years later find that they add a strange charm to a photograph. I'm not sure which is the most rateable here, the Cravens or the classic pushchair? The occupant of the latter if favoured with longevity must be over 30 now! This is Norwich set 59, E56114 + E51258 simmering at Ipswich before departure as the 10.48 to Lowestoft via the East Suffolk line. 9/9/81. Gerard Fletcher.
E54114 in Snailwell on 26th March 1989. Nicholas Youngman.

E50346 at March on a very damp August 17th 1979 in ex works condition with domino style headcode display. After this hasty (and somewhat blurred) photo had been taken, I went down to the platform where further scrutiny revealed a paint date of 29/7/79. It was paired here with a rather less sparkling Cravens trailer, E56114, they were working the 17.10 Cambridge to Peterborough service. Gerard Fletcher.
E50346 is seen at Colchester with E56114 forming a Sudbury service on March 22, 1980. Jeremy Chapter.
Cravens Class 105 (Norwich set 59) formed of cars E51258 & E56114 was stood at Lowestoft on April 27th 1980. Martyn Hilbert.
At the one-time Cromer Beach terminus of the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway (M&GNJR), a Cravens Class 105 two-car DMU, formed of cars E51294 & M56114 had arrived from Norwich on April 29th 1980. The driver is changing ends for the run to the small terminus at Sheringham. The station at Cromer had just one platform face in use, the station being surrounded by empty and redundant railway land, a legacy from the days when the station here handled heavy Summer holiday traffic from the North and the Midlands via the now closed M&GNJR. Martyn Hilbert.
The very rare sight of a DMU (classes 114 & 105) on a Liverpool Street - Cambridge service: E50003, E56014, E56114 and E51294 head the 12.05 Liverpool Street - Cambridge at Hackney Downs presumably due to shortage of loco or stock. The same unit worked Up on the 09.27 Cambridge - Liverpool Street and it wasn't doing too badly at only 8 minutes late! 16/Oct/1980. Robert Chilton.
E51258 + E56114 depart from March with a Peterborough - Cambridge service on 29/7/81. The locos are 31 297 and 47 203. John Carter.
