Met-Camm Class 111 TSL E59108 at Sheffield in March 1978. The seats are covered in Trojan moquette and it was allocated to Neville Hill. Stuart Mackay Collection.
A scene that epitomises the early years of DMU travel in Yorkshire. A Rolls-Royce powered Metropolitan-Cammell 3-car unit with E50278 trailing stands in platform 1B at Huddersfield forming a service to Wakefield Kirkgate on a misty winter's day in the 'pre-whisker' era of the late-1950s, possibly shortly after delivery in January 1958 (to Hammerton Street). The other two vehicles are presumably 59108 + 50288. Gordon Edgar Collection.
A Class 120 DMU with a Met-Camm centre car in Nottingham station on 18 August 1983. It is set EP521 with 53720 closest, the other two vehicles are presumably Class 111 59108 and 53677. Bill Fraser.
53720 and presumably 59108 and 53677 are seen in Nottingham (Midland still on the platform lamp) station on 18 August 1983. Bill Fraser.
EP503 contains M51582 + M59108 + M51573 when seen at Blaenau Ffestiniog on the 13th September 1985. Hamish Stevenson.
A Class 120/101 hybrid, 51582/59108/51573 working the 13.21 Chester-Manchester Victoria, 13/11/85. Anthony Griffiths.
