A Class 101 DMU arrives at Battersby with a Whitby service, the slide process date is August 1985. The Norwich set number identifies the leading car as E53151, transferred from Norwich to Heaton in May 1985. Stuart Mackay Collection.
A five-car formation of Met-Camm vehicles departs westbound from York with a service for Bradford Interchange in the mid/late 1980s. The leading vehicle - 53151 - still carries its East Anglian set number 97. It had been transferred from Norwich to HT in May 1985, then to NL in the first half of May 1986.
