A Met-Camm DMU seen at what is thought to be around the village of Shillford (or Shilford) between Barrhead and Dunlop in 1966. The DMBS Sc51232 (original lining, the DTCL is in the revised style) was allocated to Hamilton at this time and is displaying Kilmarnock on the destination blind. Stuart Mackay Collection.
SC51232 on the rear of a set checked at signals in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh on 25/08/78. The set number is covered over under the drivers window but it still carries the old style number in the opposite cab window. The unpainted windows on the DMS means it was probably recently transferred to the ScR. Steve Jones.
