The Branch Line Society Clydesider railtour on 24 August 1974 at Old Kilpatrick. The DMU was a 101/107/107 hybrid and SC51453 is closest. Roger Geach Collection.
Class 101 DMBS SC51453 on Eastfield depot on 22 July 1979. This had been the first Scottish DMBS to have been refurbished, released from Glasgow Works in July 1976 in the white/blue stripe livery. Three years later it now in blue/grey although its partners are in the white/blue stripe livery. Noted the taped over set number (185). Brian Daniels.

The BLS 'Clydeside Wanderer' railtour on 25 August 1979 outside Greenock (Union Street) Tunnel. The train did not enter the tunnel, the Clyde Port Authority ownership boundary was immediately at the Greenock end of the tunnel and BR wasn’t willing to stop and change ends to reverse the train inside the tunnel. Out of use vehicles at Thornton in Fife on January 27, 1991. Closest is 59794, which wouldn't be officially withdrawn until the end of the year.
