Withdrawn from Reading Depot on 22nd October 1990 after just over a year operating on the former London Division of the Western Region is Class 104 TCL 59163 in Revised NSE livery. It has obviously suffered from fire damage, although whether this was the reason for its withdrawal or something that occurred afterward is not known ...... It was scrapped by Mayer Parry of Snailwell. Old Oak Common Carriage Sdgs 4th November 1991 (?) Nigel Mack.
