Leaving for Larbert. Derby class 107 set 425 is seen rasping away from Stirling with an Edinburgh bound service in March 1988, with a Met Camm 101 in the background. This set (SC52028 + SC59797 + SC51985) continued in service for another couple of years before being converted to a departmental Sandite set for a final year before withdrawal. Murray Liston.

A well filled Derby class 107 set 425 (52028 + 59797 + 51985) drifts downhill into Dunfermline (Lower) station in March 1988 with a service for Edinburgh, probably from Cowdenbeath. Murray Liston.

This is thought to be 52028 / set 107 427, carrying a relatively short lived livery variation of large ScotRail branding and the Haymarket depot emblem (normally placed on centre cars). Seen at Kilmarnock on the day of the 1988 open day, September 11th. Andrew McConnell.

A three-car Scottish Region Class 107 DMU (set 148) had arrived in bay platform 7 at Carlisle with a service from Kilmarnock on March 25th 1979. Only one vehicle number was captured - SC52028 at the far end, but the other two vehicles are believed to be 52002 + 59799. Martyn Hilbert.
