Met-Camm centre car SC59069 at Snailwell on May 21, 1989. It had been withdrawn from Neville Hill the previous December. Nicholas Youngman.

107 441 (probably 52002 + 59069 + 52019) has a Class 101 centre car when seen in Paisley Gilmour Street in late 1984. Andrew McConnell.

Class 105 DMBS 51269 at the head of a Glasgow Central - Largs service at Paisley Gilmour Street on 14/7/86. It had been transferred from Norwich a few weeks before, the NC set number 51 has been partially peeled from the left cab window. The vehicle is in plain blue livery, the vehicles behind (59069 and 51250) are in blue/grey as evidenced by the open doors. Dennis Taylor.

101 activity on Haymarket depot circa 1987. On the left a DMS (still running) and centre car (labeled 322 - presumably 59069) seem to part of a set reformation in progress. Above it another set seems to be being split or joined powered by a pair of Class 26s. On the right is a centre car labeled as being from set 308, and a vehicle from another class behind. Recently transferred from Scotland, set 101322 consisting of SC53159 + SC59069 + SC51250 at Newcastle on 1/10/87, receiving attention from fitters. Unusually, the leading vehicle retains the top marker light above the destination blind - these were usually removed upon refurbishment in late 1970s / early 1980s. Graeme Phillips Collection.
