It was noted it had been agreed with the Eastern Region that these two Pullman trains be serviced at Reddish.
Matter to be considered further at next meeting.
The Chairman referred to the diesel locomotives now being built and the large number it was anticipated would be authorised for the future and said it was essential that the question of maintenance and servicing facilities be given urgent consideration in order that such facilities would be available before delivery of the locomotives.
Agreed that the Diesel Trains Committee consider this matter at future meetings.
