2nd December 1963
A Gloucester RCW unit (Class 100) is just leaving the pleasant llittle station at Pelsall on 2 December 1963, it was the first station north of Walsall on the South Staffordshire line to Wychnor Junction, it lasted until passenger services were withdrawn in 1965. As can be seen from Peter's photograph, it had a substantial main station building and a good sized brick built waiting room opposite. A public path now passes the site with little trace of the station remaining.
