Five separate orders were placed with Met-Camm totalling 760 DMU vehicles in the 79xxx series and the Class 101/102/111s. 72 were for the ER, 393 for the NER, 159 for the ScR and 136 for the LMR. To deal with the large amount of vehicles in a more organised fashion, I have divided these orders up into batches. These are my own codes and are not official in any way.
Looking at the vehicles in this fashion also helps explain some of the changes in vehicle details, particularly those that were not numerical.
