Tyseley set T201 at Trent Junction. The set had quite a few vehicle pairings over a couple of years, this Class 116/101 combo is presumably 53895 + 53219 which dates it to around mid-1988. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Having collected the single line token from the signal box at nearby Midge Hall, a Class 101 two-car DMU formed of cars M51523 & M53219 (N657) was gaining momentum as it was passing Pages Crossing at Ulnes Walton whilst en-route to its next station call at Croston with a Preston to Ormskirk service on April 29th 1989.
