An ex-works 4-car set at York, 19/07/1981, probably 50642 + 59382 + 59250 + 50631 was painted in this livery in June 1981. Andrew McConnell.
A four-car Class 108 DMU is not a bad way to traverse the Settle & Carlisle line. A southbound working is caught here at Blea Moor in the summer of 1985. The train will shortly cross Ribblehead viaduct. The closest two vehicles appear to be E53643 + E59250. Andrew Walker.
Seen leaving Brightside station is E52067 + E59250 + E51840 - a Class 110 / 108 / 110 hybrid set. It's working the 09:17 Sheffield - Leeds on January 29th 1988. Hamish Stevenson.

Class 110 DMBC E52067 leads a 3 car mixed formation into Leeds Station on the 1st August 1988. The remaining vehicles are Class 108 TBSL E59250 and Class 110 DMCL E51840 and all were allocated to Leeds Neville TMD. E59250 survives in preservation at the Severn Valley Railway while E52067 was scrapped at Vic Berrys, Leicester in April 1990 with E51840 following suit at Mayer Newman, Snailwell during August of the same year. This class 101 / 108 / 110 DMU seen in the Harrogate bay at York station on 14/10/1989 has been thrown together with two brake compartments coupled next to each other. The lead vehicle is Class 101 DMBS no. 51463, followed by a Class 108 TBS(L) presumably 59250 and an unknown Class 110 DMS. Graeme Phillips Collection.
