Derby-built Class 107 DMU set 107429 (presumably 52029 + 59795 + 51989) in Kilmarnock station on 23 January 1985. A Class 101 is on the left. Brian Daniels.
Looking along the magnificent cantilever railway bridge which spans the Firth of Forth, between North Queensferry and South Queensferry, as a Strathclyde liveried Derby Heavyweight class 107 dmu 107429 (52023 + 59795 + 51989) passes us by with a north bound working on 8th July 1987. Known as the Forth Bridge the bridge is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a symbol of Scotland. Andrew J Crowther.

Dunfermline Derby. A Strathclyde "jaffa cake" liveried Derby class 107 set 107429 (presumably 51989 + 59795 + 52023) stops to drop off some passengers at Dunfermline (Lower) in August 1987. Murray Liston.
An orange stopper. Strathclyde orange liveried Derby class 107 429 has arrived at Waverley platform 12 in March 1988 with a stopping service from Glasgow Central via Shotts and will soon retrace its steps. This set formed of SC51989 + SC 59795 + SC52023 was withdrawn 3 years later like most of its classmates. Murray Liston.
