A very rare (possibly unique?) use of a Class 110 on Helsby to Hooton services. 52080 & 51811 are at Helsby with the 12.02 departure, 20/5/85. Anthony Griffiths.

Class 110 DMU at Honley

30th August 1986

The Sheffield to Huddersfield service via Penistone was a BR backwater which was perhaps lucky to survive Beeching. Here a "Metro Train" branded two-car Class 110 Birmingham RC&W unit calls at Honley with 52080 leading the way to Huddersfield on the 30th August 1986. Mike Dean.

Class 110 DMU at Skipton

6th May 1989

A Rolls-Royce engined, two-car Class 110 'Calder Valley' DMU with Driving Motor Second Lavatory E52080 leading, was stood at Skipton with a Morecambe to Leeds service on May 6th 1989. The unit was in its twilight period, as new Class 150/2 Sprinters were coming into service. Martyn Hilbert.
