The 17.05 Fife "Outer Circle" train (Edinburgh to Edinburgh via Dunfermline, Thornton and Kirkcaldy) leaves Waverley station on 27/7/93. It is formed of set 991 (53331/59125/53308), transferred to Haymarket five months previously from Reading, where it had been set L838 with Network South East. Its stay at Haymarket would not last much longer - it was transferred to Longsight the following month and put into departmental use there another month after that.
