Class 120 buffet car (with 'Buffet' painted over) had a broken window when seen at Derby St Marys in April 1985. It had been withdrawn from DY at the end of 1983. 51617 on the left had also been withdrawn in 1983. Ian Francis.
Set 305 (probably comprised of 51785 + 59680 + 51794) leaves Aberdeen for Inverness past the site of Schoolhill station with Class 122 55011 on the rear. June 1978. Mike Cooper.
Set 177 led by Class 101 DMBS SC51797 departs from Glasgow Central. Date unknown, the Class 120 centre car is presumably SC59680 which dates it to circa summer 1981. The rear car appears to be a Class 120 DMSL. Paul Redmond.
A Class 120/101 hybrid set with a refurbished Met-Camm departs Fairlie High station en route to Largs circa 1981. It's an ex-Inverness DMS, of which two were at Ayr at the time. It is probably 51794 rather than '89, as it was noted working with 59680 + 51470 in February 1981. Andrew McConnell.
