Kentish Town - Barking

This service was operated by Cricklewood DMUs. In January 1981 the service changed to a Gospel Oak - Barking service when the Engine shed curve at Kentish Town was closed.

A DMU arrives at Upper Holloway on a Barking to Kentish Town working in June 1977. It is composed of a 3-car set and a single power car. Services were diverted to Gospel Oak in 1980, presumably because of congestion at Kentish Town, once electrification was underway. Kevin Lane.

With its destination blind in a bit of a mess, a Derby Class 116 Suburban 3-Car DMU with Driving Motor Brake Second M50063 leading, had arrived at Kentish Town with a service from Barking on September 20th 1980. The service through to Kentish Town on the Midland main line was withdrawn in 1981. Martyn Hilbert.
